This topper keeps water and debris from sitting on top of your slide-out so seals stay tight and mold doesn’t form. The awning extends and retracts automatically with your slide-out, so you don’t have to remember to roll anything out or in. Once installed, it creates a barrier that stops leaves, sticks, and water from reaching the slide-out roof, keeping your rig cleaner and drier after every storm.

The heavy-duty 13.5-oz vinyl fabric is made to stand up to regular outdoor use. It’s cold-crack tested down to -25°F so it won’t stiffen or split in freezing weather, and the heat-welded seams block leaks that can damage your trim or siding. The black fabric pairs with matching black hardware for a clean, finished look that blends in with most setups.

This model fits slide-outs measuring 152" to 157" wide with a 48" extension and needs at least 7" of clearance on both sides. The awning rail measures 157" long, giving a snug, proper fit across the top of the box. If two slide-outs sit side by side, you’ll need 14" of total clearance between them to mount both toppers without interference.
The roller tube comes with the fabric already mounted, and the kit includes the brackets, hardware, and awning rail you need. The access plate mounts to the slide-out wall with self-tapping screws, and the brackets slide onto the plate’s track to hold the roller tube in place. You can mount the awning rail up to 5" above the trim for proper runoff and a clean angle that lets rain drain quickly.
Weighing around 55 pounds, this topper is easy to handle during install but still strong enough to stay taut and stable. The roller tube can be tensioned 12–16 turns for smooth operation and even fabric roll-up, keeping it tight and wrinkle-free as it extends and retracts with your slide-out.
It’s important that the slide-topper sits at as steep an angle as possible so that any rainwater will drain immediately. Any water that sits in the awning can stretch out the fabric permanently and warp it out of shape.
